Two suspects have been nabbed by the Techiman North Police over the murder of a level 300 basic education teacher trainee mid this year at Misidan, a community in the Techiman North Municipality.
One of the suspects, identified as 27-year-old Collins Ameyaw, was arrested at Wenchi and was arraigned before the Tuobodom District Court and remanded to re-appear on September 23, 2024.
The other suspect, Benjamin Wiafe, was also arrested at Tuobodom. He has also appeared before the same court.
According to sources, Collins was grabbed with Hannah’s phone in his custody while his accomplice was also found with her chip.
Investigations so far reveal that the suspects were found with Hannah’s lost phone and invited her to come for it in Techiman after she arrived on campus and realized her cell phone was missing on that ill-fated day.
Police are tight-lipped over the arrests but according to sources, investigations are ongoing.
It would be recalled that Hannah Akosua Frimpomaa a level 300 students of Atebubu College of Education left home in Affumam on June 13 June, 2024 for school but only found her decomposing body later in an uncompleted building at Misidan, a community in the Techiman North Municipality.
