A washing bay attendant, Kwaku Siaw has allegedly murdered his girlfriend, 18-year-old Adwoa for yet to be known reasons.
The incident, that happened at Nkawkaw Krofofrom in the Kwahu West Municipality of the Eastern Region has thrown the community into a state of disbelief.
According to the parents of the suspect, the couple had two children and were living peacefully, hence they are shocked.
The suspect’s parents expressed their confusion, stating that they had misunderstandings but nothing seemed amiss on the day of the incident.
“They normally fought, but on the fateful day, nothing seemed wrong between them, so we don’t understand why this happened,” the father lamented.
Neighbours also expressed their shock, noting that the couple had been living in peace, and it was unclear what could have triggered such a tragic act.
Kwaku is currently on the run and a search for him suspect is underway.
