Crime Check Foundation, CCF in collaboration with its donors has put smiles on the faces of inmates at Ghana’s Senior Correctional Centre SCC and the Nsawam Female Prison by donating various items to them.
Items worth thousands of Ghana cedis have been given to inmates of the two facilities them as part of the Foundation’s support for the reformation and rehabilitation of prison.
Items including bags of rice, gallons of cooking oil, boxes of tomato paste, tuna flakes, bathing and washing soaps and clothes among others were donated to the SCC.
Receiving the items, the Chief Superintendent of Prisons at the SCC Mrs. Victoria Adzewodah on behalf of the Officer-in-Charge of the facility expressed appreciation to CCF and its donors for coming to their aid. “We thank CCF and those who donated these items. We are so grateful and I believe these items you have brought will go a long way to supplement food ration for the boys. We hope this relationship will continue. Thank you very much”. She said.
CCF continued to share love to inmates at Nsawam Female Prison by presenting over 20 large bags of clothes, footwear and walking aid to them.
Assistant Superintendent of Prisons Priscilla Oforiwaa on behalf of the Officer-in-Charge of the prison thanked CCF for their kind gesture. She said the donation will go a long way to benefit inmates at the facility.
