The Ghana Police Service has commenced an investigation into a viral video in which a group of young men were seen harassing a female student.
A 31-second video showed some male students of the Kumasi Academy Senior High School physically assaulting a female student accused of engaging in a sexual act.
The disturbing video has prompted the Ghana Police Service to launch an investigation into the assault.
“We wish to assure the public that the perpetrators will be identified and arrested to face justice”, the statement read.
The statement was posted in the Ghana Police Services’ Facebook page.
