Crime Check Foundation (CCF) has supported the Motherly Love Foundation located at Dome in Accra with food items and toiletries.
The items include bags of rice, a gallon of cooking oil, packs of fizzy drinks, boxes of tomato pastes, and packs of toilet tissues.
The gesture was to help the Motherly Love Foundation meet the nutritional and hygienic needs of the children.
The items were received by a staff of the orphanage, Joshua Azumah, the son of the founder of the orphanage, Reverend John Azumah.
Joshua Azumah was full of gratitude to ‘Love Your Neighbour Foundation’ for their continuous support towards the well-being of the children at the orphanage.
“I want to thank ‘Love Your Neighbour Foundation’ for the love they continue to show to us. On behalf of Reverend Azumah, I want to wish for God’s blessings upon you for the concern you have for this orphanage. May blessings abound for you to expand your territories. The items would be managed judiciously. Thank you,” he said.
The Motherly Love Foundation was founded by a former HIV/AIDS ambassador, Reverend John Azumah, and his wife to care for orphans and children living with the disease.
A major challenge of the orphanage, according to management is its inability to afford its own residence for the children as rent swallows up most of the donations they get from generous individuals and organizations.
‘Love Your Neighbour Foundation’ has adopted the orphanage and has been supporting it periodically with cash, clothing, food, and other items necessary for the smooth running of the children’s home.

The donation was part of CCF’s Charity Series to help provide relief services to the vulnerable in society.
