A group based in the United States of America has donated an amount of GHC2, 500 to assist Madam Mary Marku and Forgive who are in pressing need of help.
The group led by Abrahim Clinton said, they were broken hearted when they heard about Madam Mary Marku,a 60-year-old grandmother who prays over water for their three children each time they are hungry because she cannot afford to buy them food and Forgive a patient at the Greater Accra Regional Hospital who has lost her right leg through an accident.
Presenting the gesture to Crime Check Foundation, Ernest a representative of the group said, “Abrahim and his friends after watching the stories of Madam Mary and forgive decided to contribute to help them and they realized GHC2500 and that is what we are here to present” he said.
Receiving the money, Ibrahim Oppong Kwarteng, Exective Director of Crime Check Foundation, expressed appreciation to the group and urged other individuals to do same.
“We welcome this gesture from Abrahim and his friends and we plead with the general public and other benevolent individuals to assist the foundation in helping others” he said.
