Crime Check Foundation’s Holland based single largest donor towards its Charity Series Linda Owusu fell short of words as she was presented with a citation to honour her.
Part of the citation read, “by your commitment to supporting the poor, the needy and the sick, you have demonstrated to the world the need to bridge the gap between the rich and the poor through philanthropy, by being the single largest donor of CCF’s Charity Series.” The citation was also translated into Deutsche, and presented separately to her.
Presenting the citation to her, the Executive Director of CCF expressed gratitude to Miss Owusu for her immense contribution to its programmes which has helped save many poor and sick individuals. He expressed profound gratitude to her for her selfless donation to the Kasoa Mother and Child hospital with equipment to stock its empty labour wards to mark her birthday, a benevolence that touched the heart of many.
Mr. Kwarteng also recalled her goodwill to widows and physically challenged persons in the Okaikwei Central Constituency with cash and food items and praised her big heart for donating two vehicles to the Foundation to ease the difficulties in movement when going about their work.
“We can’t do enough to your satisfaction. This is something little to show our profound appreciation to you for your contribution towards our programmes. God richly bless you and restore whatever you have lost.” He said.
Receiving the gift Miss Owusu stumbled for words in an attempt to thank CCF. “I mean, I don’t know what to say. This is so beautiful. Thank you.” She said.
She assured the Foundation of her continuous support to its programmes.
