Reports indicate the victim is now suffering from Irresistible Bowel Syndrome leading him not being able to hold faecal matter.
The victim (name withheld) in an interview said on Wednesday, August 3, 2022, the evangelist lured him into believing that he is being tormented by a spell cast on him by his aunty.
According to him, the evangelist said without casting out of the evil spell, he will not have it easy in life.
He explained that because of this, for the past two years he had been agreeing to the evangelist’s call for exorcism, which rather ended in anal sex.
This, reportedly, was the case anytime the supposed exorcism exercise was carried out “and when he is done with the act, he warns me not to tell anybody or I will die,” he said.
The mother of the victim, Millicent Yeboah, in an interview said the health of her son has deteriorated over the past two years.
She explained that the son cannot hold faecal matter anytime he feels like attending to nature’s call.
She added that it was when the victim was prevailed on to tell what accounted for his sickness, that he narrated how the said evangelist had been having anal sex with him.
The Kasoa police have since arrested the said evangelist.
CCF’s advocacy on crime prevention
Crime Check Foundation (CCF) has been educating the general public on the consequences of crime. It has rolled out television programmes with the latest being ‘Stay Away From Trouble’ in which prison inmates are interviewed about the crimes that landed them in prison and the difficulties they face while serving their sentences.
The Foundation has also been advocating for the passage of the Non-Custodial Sentencing bill into law.
