Crime Check Foundation, CCF has gifted poor widow, Comfort Lamptey an amount of Twelve Thousand Ghana Cedis to support the dreams of her blind children, David and Esther.
In an interview with the blind siblings, David said because of financial difficulties his political dream was not going to be realized as his attempts to get support to further his education to the University has been unsuccessful.
“I have gone to some organizations to seek support but they give me false hopes. I decided to take a step by buying the university admission form hoping that it will convince people to help me but to no avail. I lose hope when I don’t get any positive reply so I thought of going to Radio stations to put in my request.” He told crimecheckghana.
Speaking to Esther, she said she has desired to do business because it is late for her to go back to school. Moreover, she cannot bear the treatment that physically challenged persons face in society as regards employment. “I only want to do a business that will keep me going because I cannot learn a vocation due to my disability.” She said.
CCF through some of its donors presented Twelve Thousand Six Hundred and Twenty Five Ghana Cedis to Mrs. Lamptey to enable her children achieve their ambitions.
The old woman and her blind children rained blessings on CCF and the donors for the support. “God bless you for your contribution. May God bless your businesses and grant you your heart desires and protect you from all evil. May God restore whatever you have lost.” They prayed.
The Foundation’s Charity Series is used to supplicate support for poor individuals and families who struggle to make ends meet.
