Crime Check Foundation (CCF) has supported Muslims at Nima to celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr.
With contribution from UK-based Ahmadi Ladies, CCF gave the beneficiaries bags of rice and bottles of cooking oil worth Four Thousand Two Hundred Ghana cedis.
The Executive Director of the Foundation, Ibrahim Oppong Kwarteng said the gesture was necessary to put smiles on the faces of the poor during the festive season.
He said CCF would continue to support Muslim communities to help make their Ramadan journey easier.
“We acknowledge that some Muslims after completing their fasting. That is why it is important that we go to their aid so that they will also be able to celebrate the Eid ul-Fitr,” he said.
The beneficiaries, while receiving their items heaped praises on CCF and the Ahmadi Ladies.
“May Allah bless you for coming to help us. May He replenish anything you have lost,” they said.
CCF makes donations through its donors’ home and abroad who annually support the poor and the needy.
Some of the items donated included bags of rice, bottles of cooking oil, boxes of biscuits, and packs of carbonated drinks.
This is in accordance with the teachings of the Holy Quran, which states that those who are undertaking fasting during the Holy month should be supported to break their fast with ease.
In 2021, Crime Check Foundation supported the Muslim community in Kasoa during the Holy month of Ramadhan.
Muslims in the various prisons are not left out as they have also been benefitting from the kind gesture.
The gesture forms part of the Foundation’s Charity Series initiated to support many poor individuals and families to ease their hardships.
