The Ofaakor District Magistrate Court at Kasoa is preparing the docket of Georgina Holom who lit up two lovers to death at Kasoa Adom Estate to the Attorney General for advice.
The 20-year-old is being held for setting up on fire the room of two lovers, Kwabena Osei and Princess Ahiatey who were burnt without recognition.
Kwabena was said to be Georgina’s ex-boyfriend and Princess was her close friend.
During the first appearance in court, the court adjourned the case to Monday 21, October 2024 after the mother of one pleaded guilty to the crime.
In her second appearance, the court adjourned her case to November 6, 2024, to enable it to seek legal study and advice from the Attorney General before any judgment can be made.
The court said it was processing her dockets to be forwarded to the AG’s office.
Sympathizers and Kwabena Osei’s family were unhappy about the pronouncement as they thought the court was dragging its feet to serve their son justice.
The father of Kwabena Osei was visibly shedding tears at the court premises as other relatives complained bitterly about the court’s pronouncement.
They hurled curses at Georgina as she was whisked away in a taxi by police and CID officers.
