Forgive Dogbe a middle aged woman who was knocked down by a vehicle 7 months ago at Osu, a suburb of Accra receives help from Crime Check Foundation and its donors.
The accident victim, who has been bed-ridden for the past seven months at the Accra Regional Hospital, was given GHC4000 as money for her upkeep and that of her child.
The Foundation through its Health Check Series spoke to Forgive who narrated how she landed in hospital having her right leg amputated and the left buried in bandages.
“I was knocked down by a car in Osu while I was crossing the road from the Presbyterian school to the other side of the street” she said.
Receiving the money, Forgive expressed her profound gratitude to the Foundation and all its benevolent donors.
