A 19-year-old girl only known as Akos from Awoshie in the Greater Accra region is battling for her life after she was stabbed multiple times by her younger brother and biological mother.
According to the victim, her 18-year-old brother and 42-year-old mother stabbed her because she caught them pants down having sex in the single room they all.
Narrating her ordeal, she said she caught her mum and her brother having sexual intercourse in a single room they all lived in.
Akos disclosed that her mother and brother’s sexual affair has been ongoing for a long time and has even caused her stepfather and her mother to separate.
The horrified teenager further indicated that anytime her mother visited the husband, his younger brother always get angry. She said the situation sometimes leads to the physical abuse of her mother by her brother.
Akos claimed that her mother and brother planned to slay her for seeing them in the act because the incestuous lovers see her as a nuisance to their love affair.
She said they attacked her while she was asleep late in the night. The teenager indicated that she woke up to see the mother and younger brother pulling out her intestines after stabbing her.
She said luckily one of her aunties who lived in the same house with them took her around several hospitals for medical care following the incident.
Although the 37 Military Hospital too didn’t have beds, they managed to convince the doctor on duty to attend to her.
Akos’ mother and her brother were arrested and sent to Anya police station and the case was later transferred to Ridge police headquarters.
The woman and her son have been arrested and are expected to appear before court.
