Three teenage girls have been troubled after suspected cancer lumps were found in their breasts.
The girls, aged between 10 and 13 are pupils of two basic schools within the Ekumfi District in the Central Region.
Meena Breast Cancer Foundation (MBCF) organized a breast cancer screening exercise pooling pupils of two basic schools together; Adansimam D/A and Ekumfi Adansi Basic Schools to get them to participate.
At the Ekumfi Adansi Methodist Church premises, where the exercise was conducted, the three pupils were identified with strange lumps in their breasts manifesting symptoms of the disease.
After calming the affected persons and encouraging them that the lumps were only suspected to be cancerous, the MBCF team advised them to seek immediate medical consultation to ascertain their fate.
