Obaa Yaa, the poor widow of four children who used to sell coconut at the Accra central market, reacts gratefully to Crime Check Foundation (CCF) after she was given a two bedroom house, a container and a sum of four thousand Ghana cedis to start her own business through CCF’s Philanthropy project.
Dedicated and hardworking Obaa Yaa has worked so hard with the amount given her and is now living happily with her children.
Surprisingly, Obaa Yaa and her mother came unannounced to CCF’s office with a full basket of cassava, a bunch of plantain, pineapples, and coconuts to express her gratitude for the help offered to her. Obaa Yaa and her mother expressed their utmost appreciation to CCF for their infringing support to their family.
“We cannot thank you enough for the smiles you have put on the faces of me and my children. We pray for God’s continuous blessings upon you and your staff.” Obaa Yaa told Mr. Ibrahim Kwarteng, the Executive Director of CCF.
Mr. Kwarteng commended her appreciative acts and encouraged her to keep on with her determination and hard work to be able to support her children. He added an amount of one thousand Ghana cedis donated by philanthropist.
