A Sweden-based Ghanaian footballer, known only as Emmanuel Boateng has shown love to four disadvantaged women in Ghana with cash gifts.
The beneficiaries who are petty traders struggle to make ends meet on the streets of Accra.
Through Crime Check Foundation (CCF), the player gave each woman Five Hundred Ghana cedis to alleviate their sufferings.
“I sell pepper and the profit I make cannot even feed my family. This money will help me boost my business. God bless Emmanuel,” a beneficiary, Aishatu Yakubu said.
Another beneficiary, Eunice Adobah, a sachet water seller praised the player for the gesture saying “I take the water on credit to sell, but now I would start my own business.”
The rest of the beneficiaries, Joyce Amoabah and Amama Alhassan also expressed their gratitude to the player.
Boateng is following the steps of late Black Stars player Christian Atsu to do charity.
This is to ask for prayers for God’s blessings to see him through a successful career.
The Sweden-based footballer has sent cash to support Crime Check Foundation’s Street Charity Series, a programme meant to assist industrious but underprivileged individuals on the streets.
Many other struggling individuals will benefit from the donation of the young player.
Through the Street Charity Series, hundreds of Ghanaians have received support for their businesses and those without start-up capital have established their own trades.
