The Executive Director of Crime Check Foundation, Ibrahim Oppong Kwarteng has assured the orphans at Becky’s Foundation of his continuous support.
“Atsu may not be here anymore but he made provisions for you, he did not leave you hanging,” he said
Mr. Kwarteng had led the late Atsu’s twin sister, Atsupie, and some friends to the Foundation
Becky’s Foundation is located in the Awutu Senya District in the Central Region.
The foundation has a population of 61 children and their age ranges between 4-21 years.
Atsu, until his death was the main benefactor of the Foundation.
During a visit to the orphanage, the Executive Director of CCF, Ibrahim Oppong Kwarteng assured the children of the organization’s endless support.
“Christian Atsu worked closely with us. We know he was taking care of you until his demise. Because of that, we want to step in his shoes and continue the support he was giving you,” he said.
Earlier, Mr. Kwarteng donated food items and toiletries worth Ghc 7000 and a cash amount of GHC 5,000 for the management of the orphanage.
The donation was to mark his late wife, Amina Oppong Kwarteng’s posthumous 45th birthday.
Mrs. Kwarteng died of Breast Cancer on June 18, 2022. After her death, the Meena Breast Cancer Foundation was founded to raise awareness of cancer.
