Christy, a beneficiary of Crime Check Foundation’s philanthropic works has expressed interest in converting from Christianity to Islam.
According to her, she has decided to convert to Islam because of the love and care shown her during her lowest moment in life through Crime Check Foundation’s Director who is a Muslim.
“I want to sacrifice myself and my children to the Islamic religion because through Mr. Ibrahim Kwarteng, who is a Muslim I have received immense love, this is to show appreciation to him.
Christy whose late husband was a preacher of the gospel said, after the death of her husband she was rejected by members of the church.
According to her, she sought help from another church close by but she was blatantly turned away.
“I have been turned away by a lot of people including people I thought were Christians but the love Mr. Ibrahim Kwarteng showed me is unbelievable and that is why I want to join his religion, he has shown me love.
Christy which through Crime Check Foundation was moved from Kasoa market with her children to a two bedroom house and a shop stocked with frozen foods and plastic bowls said “I do not have anybody that will take care of my children if I am no more, but with the kind of support I have received from the Mr. Kwarteng, I am convinced that my children will be in good care in my absences” she said.
According to her, she has already bought her head scarf and lota for prayers and she would like to be called Amariah which means beautiful.
