52-year-old Alima Aliyu risk losing her life if she fails to raise GHC19, 434.46 to undergo surgery.
According to doctor’s report, the tumor developing in her brain has successfully spread into her eye sockets resulting into progressive loss of vision in her left eye.
Madam Aliyu said, she has experienced acute headache in the past two to three years but the pains became unbearable in the past one-year.
“I have been going through domestic violence from my husband, he used to beat me up until I left his place” she recounted.
The 52-year-old is said to have a large meningioma developing in her head and is currently awaiting a craniotomy and excision of the mass surgery which according to the doctors was slated for April 2019.
The 52-year-old seamstress said, she has had to stop working since she was diagnosed with the disease.
“I am unable to work as the pain in my head is severe and unbearable” she noted.
Through Crime Check Foundation’s Health Check support scheme, a US group, Conqueror Prayer Ministry has contributed 3,000 Ghana Cedis to the 7,000 Ghana Cedis already raised by Madam Aliyu. She needs an additional 9,234.46 Ghana Cedis to enable her proceed with the surgery.
