Madam Tenge said the neighbours of the suspect upon waiting for his return but to no avail, forced their way into the apartment to ascertain the source of the smell. They found Lizzy’s body, which was at an advanced stage of decomposition in a refrigerator.
An investigative team proceeded to the scene and after careful inspection of the crime scene, it was discovered that the stench was as a result of the victim’s decomposed body.
The police conveyed the body to the Ho Municipal Hospital morgue awaiting autopsy.

CCF’s ‘Stay Away From Trouble’
Crime Check Foundation (CCF), in its new programme, ‘Stay Away From Trouble, cautions the general public to shun acts that will land them in prison. Through the programme, CCF interacts with prison inmates to bring to bear acts that got them in detention to serve as a deterrent to others.
As it cautions the public against the consequences of crime, the Foundation has also been advocating for the passage of the Non-Custodial Sentencing bill into law to help decongest the prisons.
