A 32-year-old carpenter is seeking urgent medical attention as he risks losing his face to a huge tumor.
A tumor that has developed on the face of John Sam between his left eye and nose is causing the young man unbearable pain.
The condition has left him redundant. He is unable to raise Ghc 7,000 for surgery to save his face and ultimately his life.
“After conducting the necessary medical tests, doctors at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital say I would require Ghc 7,000 to undergo surgery. I have only saved Ghc 1000 so I need your help,” Sam told crimecheckghana.org.
According to Sam, a small boil grew on his face and in an attempt to treat it with herbal medicine, it degenerated and developed into a tumor.
For about six months since the start of his current condition, he has never had a good sleep as a result of the pain and the fear of losing his life.
