A kidney patient who has both organs defective and has been challenged with continuing her dialysis treatment has received support.
“I have not been able to eat and drink for the past two days because I missed some sessions,” she said with tears.
Crime Check Foundation (CCF) supported Naomi in starting dialysis treatment at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital when she approached the organization for help.
After exhausting the initial support, she has not received any further help causing her to miss out on some treatment sessions which is putting her life at risk.
CCF has to intervene to save her with another assistance of Five Hundred Ghana cedis to enable her to continue her treatment.
The support was from the contribution of a US-based group donor, Hands of Mercy to the Health Check Series of the Foundation.
Crime Check Foundation is paying for the treatment of hundreds of patients at health facilities across the country.
