Aiming to visit every community in the Central Region, Meena Breast Cancer Foundation (MBCF) is embarking on a mob-up beginning with Swedru Bebianiha.
This is to ensure that no woman is left out of the exercise while bringing breast cancer education closer to the people. MBCF had already visited major towns in the region to get residents including students screened.
At Swedru Bebianiha, the exercise recorded 146 participants screened with 4 suspected cases. Out of the suspected cases, two were women found with breast discharges and 2 others with lumps in their breasts.
The team headed to an adjoining town, Gomoa Afransi where 172 benefited from the MBCF’s sensitization and screening programme. Five suspected cases were also recorded.
